Ingredients

  • 2 packs cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayo
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped
  • 5-6 jalapeño peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Extra cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Prepare the dip base:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayo. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • Add the flavourings:
Stir in the chopped green onions, seeded and chopped jalapeños, drained corn, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly.
  • Cook the bacon:
In a pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Once cooked, crumble it into small pieces and add it to the dip mixture, stirring to combine.
  • Assemble the dip:
Transfer the mixture to your prepared baking dish. Spread it out evenly, then top with more shredded cheddar cheese (if desired) for extra cheesiness!
  • Bake:
Place the dip in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top. The cheese should be melted and bubbly
  • Serve:
Once baked, remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggie sticks for dipping.
  • Tips:
Customize the spice level: For a milder version, you can reduce the number of jalapeños or remove the seeds for less heat.
Make it ahead: Prepare the dip up to a day ahead and store it covered in the fridge. Just pop it in the oven when you're ready to serve!
Add more bacon: If you're a bacon lover, feel free to add extra crumbled bacon on top of the dip before baking.
This Jalapeño Popper Dip is the perfect combination of creamy, cheesy, spicy, and savoury flavours, guaranteed to be the hit of your next gathering. Enjoy!
