Delicious Homemade Crab Cakes

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ Cup Fresh Chopped Parsley
  • ½ Cup Chopped Green Onion
  • 1 Lb Lump Crab Meat
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 Cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tbsp Old Bay Seasoning

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, pepper, Old Bay seasoning, parsley.
  • Gently fold in the lump crab meat, being careful not to break it apart.
  • Gradually add the panko breadcrumbs and mix until the mixture holds together. You can add chopped green onions at this point for extra flavor.
  • Form the mixture into crab cake patties. Make them as big or as small as you prefer.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the crab cakes in the pan.
  • Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy.
