Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 5-6 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • Linguini or spaghetti, cooked al dente
  • 1/2 cup Reserved pasta water
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan or Pecorino cheese
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Season the Shrimp:
    Lightly season the shrimp with salt and pepper. (can add other spices as desired) In a hot pan, cook the shrimp for about 2 minutes per side until they turn pink and slightly golden. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
  • Prepare the Garlic Sauce:
    In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  • Add Flavor:
