Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 200 g (7oz) brie, cut into 16 cubes
- ½ cup Pear Jam (can use other jams)
- ⅓ cup roughly chopped walnuts
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme, picked
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) or 200°C (400°F) for fan-forced ovens. Spray a mini muffin pan with cooking oil spray.
- Cut the puff pastry into equal squares that will fit your muffins tins.
- Press each square into the holes of the prepared muffin pan.
- Fill each pastry square with a cube of brie and a small amount of pear jam. Top with walnuts and thyme leaves
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and cooked through.
- Carefully remove the brie bites from the muffin pan and transfer them to a serving platter.
- Serve immediately for best results.
