- 2 Onions
- ½ Asian Pear
- 7-8 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Knob of Ginger
- 10 Spring Onion
- ½ Cup Soy Sauce
- ½ Cup Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
- ¼ Cup Sugar or Brown Sugar
- ½ Cup Gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
- ½ Cup Bulgogi Marinade (Recipe in my next video)
- 3-4 Lbs Pork shoulder, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Prepare the MarinadeIn a blender, combine the soy sauce, bulgogi marinade, gochujang, gochugaru, 1 onion, asian pear, garlic, ginger, 5 spring onions (green part), sugar, Blend everything thoroughly.
- Marinate the PorkPlace the thinly sliced pork, thinly sliced onion, and roughly chopped green onion in a large Ziploc bag or a mixing bowl. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring that every piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or ideally a few hours for maximum flavor.
- Heat the SkilletIn a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. You want the pan to be hot to sear the pork quickly.
- Cook the PorkAdd the marinated pork to the hot skillet. Spread it out evenly to ensure even cooking. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the pork is well-cooked and has a slightly crispy exterior. You can adjust the cooking time depending on how well-done you like your pork.
