  • Cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel
  • A sharp knife and cutting board
  • A whisk or a spoon for mixing

Ingredients

  • 650 g Greek Yogurt Container
  • 1 cucumber, finely grated and drained
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cucumber:
    Start by finely grating the cucumber. You can leave the skin on for added texture and colour. Place the grated cucumber in a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth, squeeze out the excess moisture, and set it aside.
  • Mix the Yogurt:
    In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, chopped dill, and mint (if using).Stir in the grated and drained cucumber.
  • Add Flavor:
    Drizzle in the extra-virgin olive oil and fresh lemon juice. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Blend and Chill:
    Stir the ingredients together until well combined. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the Tzatziki for at least an hour. This allows the flavors to come together.
  • Serve and Enjoy:
